 Launch of the new Phillimore book "A Portrait of Basildon Plotlands - The Enduring Spirit"

Deanna Walker (author of  "Basildon Plotlands - the Londoners' Rural Retreat") and Peter Jackson were at the Essex Wildlife Trust Langdon Reserve Visitors’ Centre to sign copies of their book that contains previously unpublished photographs and memories gathered from former plotlanders with new research from area archives.

Many thanks to the staff at the Essex Wildlife Trust, Langdon Centre, our contributors and everyone who came to make the weekend an extremely enjoyable occasion.

Christmas carols at the Haven Plotlands Museum, lit by candle light and log fire. 

Enjoy mulled wine and a mince pie back at the visitor centre. 

Please note that there is no seating up at the Haven, standing only. 

Booking essential. 3 times available. 7pm, 7.40pm and 8.20pm 

Donation £6.00 per person.
